INTRODUCTION

Sindh Minimum Wages Board was established in 1974 vide Notification No:SO(L-II)4(6)/73 dated 5^th February 1974 under Section-3 of the Minimum Wages Ordinance 1961. The Board is a tripartite body and has been reconstituted after enforcement of Sindh Minimum Wages Act, 2015 with the following composition: -

COMPOSTION

• Chairman (Cadre Permanent Govt)                  
• Independent Member (Tenure of non official members is for Two years)
• Four Member to represent the employers of
• the Province (Tenure of non official members is for Two years)                                              
• Four Member to represent the workers of
• the Province (Tenure of non official members is for Two years)
• one Member to represent the employers connected with the industry or trade concerned (Tenure of non official members is for Two years)
• One Member to represent the workers engaged in such industry or trade (Tenure of non official members is for Two years)
